If you but trust in God to guide you, and place your confidence in Him,
You'll find Him always there beside you, to give you hope and strength within;
For those who trust God's changeless love, build on the rock that will not move.
Only be still and wait His pleasure, in cheerful hope, with heart content
He fills your needs, to fullest measure, with what discerning love has sent;
Doubt not our inmost wants are known, to Him who chose us for His own.
Sing, pray, and keep His ways unswerving, offer your service faithfully,
And trust His Word; though undeserving, you'll find His promise true to be.
God never will forsake in need, the soul that trusts in Him indeed. If thou but suffer God to guide thee, and hope in Him through all thy ways,
He'll give thee strength whate'er happens to thee & bear thee through the evil days. Who trusts in God's unchanging love, build on the Rock that naught can move. That will move, that none can move
All else, all else is fleeting
All else, all else depleting
All else, all else and nothing else can save you
God knows full well when times of gladness shall be the needful thing for thee, ya. When He has tried your soul with sadness & from all things has found thee free, He comes to us, who are all unaware, and makes those whom He chosen, His own loving care yet some will say who cares?
He is the One who cared, He sent himself in the form of the chosen One
To live and die and be the one who shares salvation with His creation
My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly trust in Jesus name
His oath, His covenant, His blood, support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay
When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne
On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand
